Blepharoplasty in Ogden, Utah

Blepharoplasty is a surgical procedure that involves the reshaping of the eyelids. Upper eyelid blepharoplasty specifically focuses on the upper eyelids. The primary goals of this cosmetic surgery are to remove excess skin, fat, and sometimes muscle from the upper eyelids, leading to a more youthful and refreshed appearance.

As individuals age, the skin around the eyes may lose its elasticity, resulting in sagging or drooping eyelids. This can contribute to a tired or aged look. Additionally, the accumulation of fat deposits in the upper eyelids may create puffiness or bulges.

During an upper eyelid blepharoplasty, an incision is typically made along the natural crease of the upper eyelid, allowing the surgeon to access and remove excess tissue. The incisions are carefully placed to minimize visible scarring. In some cases, the procedure may involve repositioning or redistributing fat to achieve a balanced and aesthetically pleasing outcome.

Upper eyelid blepharoplasty is often performed for cosmetic reasons to enhance the appearance of the eyes, but it can also be done for functional purposes. In instances where excessive upper eyelid skin impairs vision, the surgery may be considered medically necessary.

Most people who tint their eyebrows do not experience any side effects. However, if you wax your brows there are some possible side effects, which may include: pain, redness, irritation, temporary bumps, ingrown hair, sun sensitivity and possible bleeding. Talk to our master aesthetician to determine your risks and what’s best for your skin type so we can reduce the possible side effects
  • Is waxing less painful than tweezing?
Waxing is ideal for those who are adverse to the pain and time associated with plucking or tweezing. The process of waxing takes less time and can cover more area than plucking hair one at a time. If you’ve got thick or coarse hair, or if you need a larger area of hair removed, waxing is a quicker, better choice.
